| Annual Around Town Yard Sales |

- Each May, Marysville holds "Around Town Yard Sales". All Marysville residents may participate and the dates are advertised in the Patriot News and Duncannon Record.

- Vererans are honored in May of each year with a Memorial Day Celebration on the Square. The ceremony starts at 10:00 AM. We will honor our Vets who have protected our freedom.
- The Marysville/Rye/Perdix Veterans Memorial Committee is requesting the names of all active members of the Armed Forces from this area. Traci Lightner is compiling the names and addresses of those currently serving as well as the branch in which they serve. Call Traci at 957-2627 with this information.

| Mother's Day Flower Sale |

- Hosted by the Marysville Fire Company, Mother's Day flowers can be purchased by Fire Company volunteers in the lower level of R&S Parking Lot on the days preceeding Mother's Day in May.

Marysville Lions Club Carnival
- Held annually at the Lions Club grounds in Marysville at the beginning of August. See our Calendar for details.

The Summer Reading Program is hosted by the Marysville/Rye Library. The program is designed to spark your youngsters' creative energies through live entertainers, puzzles, story times, crafts, fun contests and , most importantly, reading the many books waiting for them at the Marysville-Rye Library.
Two programs are usually offered, one for children ages 3 through 6 and another for children ages 3 through 12. These programs run consecutively starting in July and run though the middle of August. Children may register for both programs.

Car Show and Spring Festival
The Marysville Car Show and Spring Festival is held in May and runs from 9:00 am until 3:00 pm at the Marysville Lions Club Park.
