Borough Pool

The Marysville Borough Pool will open on Saturday, June 6, 2020.

Please be Advised since Perry County is in the “Yellow” Phase the pool will be open to MEMBERS ONLY.

When Perry County moves to the “Green” Phase the pool will be open to Members and Daily Admissions.

We will use the first few days so see the effectiveness of the guidelines we are putting into place.Adjustments might be required.

Memberships will be available to purchase at the pool and borough office.

Daily admissions will not be permitted until Perry County moves to the “Green” Phase.

COVID-19 Rules and Guidelines
for the Marysville Borough Pool, Summer 2020

These rules and guidelines are subject to change at any time.

If you or anyone in your family has been diagnosed with COVID-19 in the last 14 days – OR – has symptoms of COVID-19, including dry cough, shortness of breath, fever and/or chills, loss of taste or smell – you are not permitted to enter the Marysville Borough Pool complex. Please help to keep everyone in our community safe.

Face Masks and Coverings

Everyone must have a mask.
Masks need to be worn when entering or leaving the facility.
Masks need to be worn when in our common areas (the areas around the gate, bathrooms and snack bar) and also while using the bathrooms or waiting for items from the snack bar.
Wear your masks when you are not actively swimming for your safety and that of others.

Masks should not be worn in any of the pools.

If at any time, while wearing your mask, you feel nauseous or light headed, please remove your mask, keep your distance and notify the nearest lifeguard about your condition as soon as possible. We are concerned about heat stroke and other complications.

Social Distancing

Family groups from the same household are permitted to congregate together, but these individual groups must maintain the 6’ social distancing protocols from other groups and individuals. Marysville Borough Pool Staff will help you identify distancing.

Attendance and Capacity

A capacity limitation will be in place to allow for adequate social distancing. The pool will open at 12pm. daily for membership holders only. Please be aware that admission to the pool may be suspended at any time. We will be reserving space for membership holders above the daily admissions when we are in the “Green” Phase.Private and Birthday party rentals are suspended for the 2020 pool season.


Masks are required! Our bathrooms are large enough to social distance two people at a time. If you enter the bathroom and see two occupants, please return to the entrance of the bathroom and wait until another person leaves.

The BEST way to stay safe in our bathrooms are these steps that you already know… Enter the bathroom, touch as little as possible, don’t touch your face and WASH YOUR HANDS. When you leave, our doors push open, so please use your elbow or hip to exit the bathroom.

Snack Bar

Masks are required! Our snack bar will be open for take-out only. There is room for one person to order and six people to wait in the queue. Please send only one person in to place and pay for an order in the snack bar. Only one person from your family should be at the snack bar. Once an order is placed, if the food requires a wait time to cook, you will be asked to wait outside the queue. We will bring the food out or call you on the PA system when it is ready.

Ketchup, mustard and salt containers have been replaced with individual packets.


The slides will be closed until further notice.

Diving Board

Handrails will be frequently cleaned and the lines will form at the stairs following distancing requirements.Running up the steps is strictly prohibited.

Benches and Picnic Tables

We have placed single benches apart from one another around the facility and they will be wiped down frequently. Maintain social distancing requirements. Do not leave any items at any benches when not in use.Pick up all food items and containers and throw into the trash receptacles.Do not leave any items at the picnic table if leaving for the day.

Chairs, Noodles, Goggles, other items

The pool will not supply or lend any items this year. If you would like to have any of these accessories, you must bring them with you and take them with you when you leave. We also recommend that you do not share your items with other non-household groups or accept the use of items from other groups.

There will not be a “lost and found” container this season.Any valuables, such as jewelry, wallet, cell phone. will be cleaned and kept in the snack bar.All other items left at the pool will be put in the trash receptacles.

Our Pool Employees

All our employees are subject to the same rules and regulations. Any employee who has been exposed to the COVID-19 virus, has an exposed household member, or is displaying any symptoms will not be allowed to work and must not return to work for 14 days.

Lifeguards are not required to wear masks when on pool surveillance only.Lifeguards on duty in the guard shack will be required to wear masks.

Snack bar staff are not required to wear masks, but will be wearing gloves and masks when wiping down the pool facility.

Please do not enter the designated guard area at the guard shacks and other “employee only” areas.

Marysville Borough Residents Only

The Marysville Borough Council agreed once a again to gift the pool money for in 2020. This means we will be offering Marysville Borough Resident half price memberships for the 2020 season. Please see the prices below.

The 50% off memberships can be purchased the remaining pool season for 2020. Please see below the pool membership application. You can print the application and mail/drop it off at the borough office or submit the application online. Is submitting your application online, you must PAY ONLINE (the pay online link is below). If you are paying online put "membership" in the reference box.
